The EU is trying to find a commercial solution in accordance with Trump's requirements

The EU has temporarily avoided the threat of Donald Trump from June 1 to the European Union, but it is not yet clear how it will be able to find a mutually beneficial trade agreement that will meet the US demands. Trump promised to postpone the final decision until July 9, during the negotiation period.

EU officials claim the version of Zero-Zero customs, including industrial goods, and propose to increase American soy, gas and weapons. However, the United States continues to claim unilateral concessions, connected with EU tax and food safety regulations, which EU representatives do not want to change easily.

The EU is ready for negotiations, but notes that it cannot agree to all US requirements, including the transfer of the United States. The EU emphasizes that the trade deal should be mutually beneficial and explained to the Trump administration, Reuters reports.
