According to Reuters, Europe is discussing the possible development of dialogue formats with Russia on the issue of Ukraine. An unnamed German official informed the agency about it.
According to the source, it is necessary to form such a negotiation platform that would be effective and perceived by European countries as acceptable and legitimate.
According to his assessment, the so-called "European trio" - Germany, France and Great Britain - can continue to play an important role in this process. Earlier, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that Berlin intends to discuss the issues of support to Ukraine with the new Hungarian government, stressing that Germany continues to support Kiev.
