The US Supreme Court has stopped deporting Venezuelan migrants

The US Supreme Court has temporarily suspended the White House plans to deport another group of Venezuelan migrants, which is accused of being a member of a criminal group. This was reported by CNN.

The reason for the intervention of the court was the motion submitted by the lawyers of migrants on April 18 2025. They noted that their clients could be deported without prior notice or appeal to appeal. Advocates noted that some migrants have already started to prepare for the departure.

The decision of the Supreme Court did not provide reasons, but the administration has taken further steps as long as the Louisiana Federal Court of Appeals has no decision on the case. However, two judges, Samuel Allito and Clarens Thomas, disagreed.

Earlier it was reported that the US President Donald Trump's administration plans to deport 1 million foreign migrants from the United States during the first year of the United States.
