To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche Design has unveiled two limited edition watches that embody the spirit and performance of the legendary sports car.The Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years is a tribute to the first 911 Turbo introduced in 1974. Limited to 1,974 pieces, this watch is available exclusively to owners of the new 911 Turbo 50 Years special edition. It features a lightweight titanium case, reflecting the car’s commitment to minimal weight and maximum performance. The case back is engraved with the car’s limited edition number.
Notably, the design of the Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years reflects the high-performance aesthetics of its automotive counterpart, with a winding rotor modeled after the 911 Turbo’s wheel. The classic black leather strap is crafted from genuine Porsche automotive leather. The price of this model is $12,553.
The second model, the Chronograph 1 – 50 Years 911 Turbo Edition, is a modern homage to the original Chronograph I, designed by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche in 1972. This watch is limited to just 500 pieces. Its titanium case is finished with a black titanium carbide coating, the dial, inspired by the dashboard of the first 911 Turbo, has white hands and indexes for optimal legibility, and a red seconds hand adds a sporty touch. It is available for $12,000.
