Veolia Water has issued a statement:
"The 1000 mm water main supplying Gyumri has been restarted. Specialists from the "Shirak" operational site have completed the work.
At this moment, water is already filling the "Mayisyan" daily regulating reservoir, after which the city’s water supply will gradually be restored.
We extend our thanks to our specialists, who worked nonstop for 36 hours under heavy rain and cold conditions, and to our consumers who patiently waited for the work to be completed. Dear consumers, understanding how difficult it is to organize daily life without water, we nevertheless remind once again that emergencies cannot be predicted. However, if they do occur, the Veolia Team makes every effort to resolve them quickly."
