Russian troops are allegedly preparing a large-scale attack towards Kherson by using the temporary ceasefire in occupied Oleshky to transfer equipment and servicemen. This was reported to Bild by Ukrainian servicemen.
They claim that the video footage recorded active movement of Russian units. In their assessment, the attack could begin after the ceasefire ends on November 1. However, there is currently no independent confirmation of these plans.
One Ukrainian serviceman shared that Russian KamAZ trucks are continuously transporting combat units, and the Kakhovka industrial zone is being equipped with anti-drone nets. According to him, Russian forces have deployed a large number of "Grad" multiple rocket launch systems in the forest near the village of Radensk, where they are also fortifying shelters and cutting down trees.
Residents of Hola Prystan also report the movement of numerous Russian military trucks. Another Ukrainian serviceman said Russian drone units are moving closer to the Dnipro River. He did not rule out the possibility that after the ceasefire ends, Russian forces might attempt a river crossing.
The temporary ceasefire in Oleshky was made possible thanks to mediation by the Vatican and the U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. It is intended to allow the evacuation of civilian residents from the occupied city, where approximately two thousand people remain, according to media estimates.
