The best diet of the brain aging has been named


Scientists from Ben-Gurion, Harvard and Leipzig Universities have found that the special version of the Mediterranean Diet, which is filled with green tea, helps to slow down the aging of the brain. The results of the study were published in the "Clinical Nutrition" magazine.

About 300 people took part in the 18-month experience. They followed one of the three diets, a standard healthy diet, a classic Mediterranean diet or its "green".

The Mediterranean Diet is based on the traditional diet of the residents of the coastal regions of Greece, Italy, Spain and other Mediterranean countries. It includes a large number of vegetables, fruits, fish, seafood and walnuts.
