Lavrov has announced the need to revive Russia-India-China format

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has called for the restoration of the "Russia-India-China" format, noting that it is currently a convenient moment for its revival, taking into account the current solution to relations between India and China. Lavrov stated this during the international public and political hearings held in Perm.

According to him, this format was established on the initiative of Yevgeny Primakov and was more than 20 times ministerial meetings, including external actions, and the trade and financial departments of the three countries.

Lavrov stressed that in the conditions of weakening the border tension between India and China, now it is time to restore this format and develop trilateral cooperation, Interfax reports.
