The RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure received the letter of the RF Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev about the possible cancellation of the agreement on the supply of fuel and rough diamonds from the Russian Federation. We learn about this from the RA MFA
"As of 3:00 p.m., the letter addressed to the RA Ministry of Education and Culture was received, which will be studied, and the Armenian side will respond as necessary," said Ani Badalyan, spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry.
Let us add that the Russian Federation announced that it can unilaterally suspend or terminate the agreement with Armenia on duty-free supplies of gas, oil products and rough diamonds, if Yerevan continues the policy of rapprochement with the EU.
That message was included in the letter of the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergey Tsivilev addressed to the relevant department of the RA. In Moscow, they believe that the ongoing steps of Armenia's European integration threaten the foundations of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation.
