Telegram won't work even with a VPN
The Telegram messenger will not be able to work in Russia even with the presence of a VPN, according to Andrei Svintsov, vice-chairman of the information policy committee of the State Duma.
According to him, Roskomnadzor has the technical ability to monitor VPN-traffic and can gradually limit its activity.
According to Svintsov, only the so-called "legal" VPN services, which are used, in particular, by the media, can remain in the country.
According to the deputy, Roskomnadzor is able to monitor such connections, so Telegram "will not be able to deceive" the agency.
