US Vice President J.D. Vance announced that the Strait of Hormuz is open.
"We wanted to create a mechanism to keep the Strait of Hormuz open. And it is open. Of course, we see gas and oil prices going down, and millions of barrels of oil and natural gas flowing through the Strait of Hormuz, which has never happened before.
But we also wanted to make sure that we actually created a coordination mechanism so that we could clear the Strait of Hormuz of mines," he said at a press conference.
