The "Hraparak" newspaper writes: "The construction company 'Sojeni' LLC, owned by Gayane Avetisyan, the wife of Armen Grigoryan, the current mayor and winning candidate in the Stepanavan local elections, has won several major tenders in the past two years.
Specifically, with a contract signed in November 2024 with the Tashir community mayoralty worth 190,200,000 drams, they renovated roofs of multi-apartment buildings and carried out work to improve energy and thermal efficiency.
In November 2025, they signed a contract with the Gyulagarak community mayoralty for the construction of a sports school, with a contract value of 180,678,196 drams.
In 2024, two contracts were also signed with the Armenian Territorial Development Foundation for renovation work. The values were 56,277,000 and 103,746,442 drams. It turns out that with just 4 contracts, the mayor’s wife’s "Sojeni" LLC earned 503 million drams; the company was founded in April 2018 and began signing contracts only in recent years.
