Thanks to rapidly responding to operational information received on October 23, the Vagharshapat municipal police prevented a theft. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police.
At 17:15, while the pipes were being removed from the ground and dismantled in the field area adjacent to Charents Street in Tairov, municipal police arrested and took to the station a 45-year-old man from the village of Mkhchyan in Ararat region, the welder doing the work, and the truck driver.
It was revealed that the theft of pipes worth about one and a half million drams was organized and arranged by the 45-year-old man together with the other two.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated, the man has been arrested and taken to the detention center. The circumstances are being clarified.
