In an interview with the Fox News channel, US Vice President Jay D. Vance said that the next round of negotiations between the United States and Iran could start on June 21.
"Negotiations with Iran are possible on Sunday," Vance said. He confirmed that the special envoy of the US president, Steve Wittkoff, and the son-in-law of the American leader, Jared Kushner, are in the place where the negotiations with the Iranian side are planned.
The vice president announced progress in the negotiations with Tehran and expressed confidence that the parties will manage to maintain the ceasefire regime.
