German Economy Minister Katarina Reiche has announced that the European Union will insist with new agreements that the blue fuel exported from Turkey to the EU countries does not have Russian origin.
"Turkey understands and accepts the fact that the EU attaches great importance to the refusal of Russian raw material supplies," Bloomberg quoted him as saying.
At the same time, it was made clear in Ankara that the immediate replacement of supplies from Russia is impossible both for economic reasons and as a result of limited available resources.
