Indian Foreign Minister Subramanyam Jaishankar, who is on an official visit to the United States, announced that he discussed the issues of strategic partnership between the two countries, including energy, nuclear and defense issues, with the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
"A meaningful conversation took place, during which issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and global issues were discussed. Within the framework of the strategic partnership between India and the USA, the issues of trade, energy, nuclear sector, defense, important minerals and technologies were addressed," Jaishankar wrote on the X social platform.
He added that during the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold the sessions scheduled within the framework of various mechanisms as soon as possible in order to promote common interests.
