US President Donald Trump has stated that The New York Times newspaper intentionally distorts information about its activities and spreads unreliable data.
"The coverage of my activities by The New York Times is deliberately distorted. Soon we will see how I will stand against these scammers in court. Fake news," he wrote on the Truth Social social network. The American leader filed a $15 billion lawsuit against The New York Times earlier.
He accused the periodical of openly supporting his rival in the 2024 presidential elections, the country's vice president at the time, Kamala Harris, as well as spreading slander against him, his family members and those around him.
