Ali Shamkhani, adviser on political issues of the supreme leader of Iran, stated that there is no reason to remove the nuclear materials from the country, but it is possible to reduce the level of uranium enrichment to 20 percent in exchange for appropriate compensation.
"There is no reason to withdraw the stored nuclear materials from Iran.
If they are concerned, the enrichment of 60 percent can be reduced to 20 percent, but they should offer something in return," said Shamkhani in an interview with the Lebanese "Al Mayadeen" TV channel.
