US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had agreed to stop buying Russian oil and increase supplies from the US and possibly Venezuela.

"He (Modin - ed.) has agreed to stop buying Russian oil and start buying significantly more oil from the United States and possibly Venezuela," Trump wrote on the TruthSocial social network after the phone conversation between the leaders.
