A man in the United States has grown a small car weighing pumpkin according to New York Post.
New York State Engineer Tony Scott has grown a giant pumpkin, which weighs 876 kilograms (1976 pounds), almost as little car, according to New York Post.
Scott took care of his "orange giant" for a few months. Every day it watered it, fertilized, and even cover the night with a blanket to maintain the temperature. He used a measuring tape to follow the rapid growth of the fruit.
"I have never seen anything grow up so fast," the man confessed.
A special type is used to grow such giants, the Atlantic giant, explained to Tony. These plants can absorb hundreds of liters of water a day and up to 20 kilograms daily (44 pounds). In order for all energy to be absorbed in one fruit, gardeners remove the remaining ovaries.
