Musk donated another $44 million to support Trump

American entrepreneur Elon Musk donated another 44 million dollars to the America PAC political committee supporting the Republican candidate for the US president, Donald Trump. According to "Armenpress", this was reported by the Reuters agency.
America PAC, whose founder is Elon Musk himself, is focused on attracting voters in states where the outcome of the elections is not yet clear.
Earlier it became known that Musk donated 74.95 million dollars to Trump's election campaign team between July and September.

Most of the donated money, 72 million dollars, was spent during those three months. And according to the new report submitted to the US Federal Election Commission, more than 47 million dollars were spent in the first half of October.
According to another report, Trump's campaign spent more than $88 million on advertising in the first half of this month; they have 36 million dollars left in their bank account for the last part of the pre-election campaign.
Democratic candidate Kamala Harris' campaign team has raised and spent more money in recent months. In early October, Harris' team spent more than $130 million on advertising, raised $97 million by the middle of the month, and had $119 million in the bank as of October 16, according to their filing.
As a way to boost support for Donald Trump, Elon Musk's America PAC is also giving away $1 million a day to one randomly selected signer of its online petition. This opportunity can be used only by registered voters in states where the outcome of the elections is not clear.
According to CNN, the US Department of Justice sent America PAC a letter warning that providing such money may be a violation of federal law.
Elon Musk, the world's richest man, has voted for Democratic presidential candidates in the past, but his views have changed dramatically during this election.
The US presidential elections will take place on November 5.
