Armenian Wushuists won 27 medals in the European Championship

At the 20th European Wushu Championship held in Lyon, France, Armenian teams of different ages won 27 medals, of which 14 were gold (13 Sanda, 1 - Taolu), 11 - silver (8 Sanda, 3 - Taolu), 2 - bronze (Sanda). In the competition of adults, the Armenian team won 5 gold and silver medals and two bronze medals.

Siranush Avagyan - Choi Li Foot style junior silver medalist.

Let's remind that Armenia represented 29 athletes in the European Championship. 24 athletes competed in Sanda and 5 in Taolu. Armenia was also represented in the championship by referee staff. The delegation of Armenia went to the competition venue under the leadership of the president of the federation, Rustam Alaverdyan.
