The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee, Artur Poghosyan, today received the head of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission in Armenia, Janezh Lenarchic.
During the meeting, Artur Poghosyan emphasized the invaluable contribution of the observation mission at the most important stage for the Republic of Armenia. This is reported by the CC.
"The interlocutors referred to the powers exercised by the Investigative Committee in connection with crimes related to electoral processes during the parliamentary elections to be held in Armenia.
During the meeting, Artur Poghosyan referred to the activities of the working group created in accordance with his order in order to more properly organize the powers of the RA Investigative Committee during the regular elections of the National Assembly scheduled for June 7, 2026.
Artur Poghosyan also noted that during the pre-election stage, on the day of the election and in the days following it, the Investigative Committee will carry out a strengthened service with all the staff.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to ensure the continuous exchange of information and assured that the cooperation will have a continuous character," the message said.
