Former US intelligence employees warn Moscow-Washington rapprochement

Washington does not consider Moscow as a major threat, NBC reports, citing former US intelligence officials. In this regard, the interlocutors of the TV channel fear that Washington may reduce intelligence data on Russia.

Because [US President Donald] Trump and his deputies repeat about Russia's positions on Ukraine and hope that the United States has better connections with Moscow, the administration can even convey some secret information to Moscow.

The interlocutors of the TV channel note that the White House has made it clear that it prefers to counteract drugs from other countries in Mexico and Latin America. The Pentagon has already deployed forces on the southern US border and send analysts group there. At the same time, the CIA has started flying through a drone through Mexico.

Earlier, The New York Times reported that the White House wanted Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to remove officials who oppose negotiations with Russia. According to the publication, Washington claims to sign an agreement on rare metals with Ki.
