Trump. Ukraine owes $ 400-500 billion to the United States

US President Donald Trump has said he expects to reach a rapid agreement with Kiev on the obligations to compensate US $ 400 to 500 billion.

"I think we are very close. I think they want it. They like it. This is a great job. "We hope we will sign agreements in a short period of time, which will provide the return of 400-500 billion to us," he said.

He stressed that he expects the solution to the Ukrainian crisis.

"We spend our treasury, they shed blood, but we spend on a country that is very far away. We don't get our money back, we don't want to. : I had to make sure that Russia wants to make a deal. "I think we can do it," the US President added.

On February 3, Trump said that Washington expects Kiev to provide guarantees for the supply of rare land metals for financial and military assistance. The Washington Post, citing members of the Congress, told US officials during a meeting with Vladimir Zelensky in Munich, which will pass a document to the United States to 50% of Ukraine's mineral reserves. The next day Zellensky said that he refused to allow US Vice President J. D. Wensi sign the agreement.
