US President Donald Trump has said that Washington is in touch with Moscow due to the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
"What I can do to stop the war I will do. We are already holding discussions, "he told reporters at the White House.
The US President called the discussions "very serious", not specifying at what level the parties had on.
Trump once again stated that he expects to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We will talk," he said. "We may do something important. We want to end this war, "he added.
