Scientists have named a drink that saves from cancer

Dairy products reduce the risk of colorectal cancer

After 17 years of research, American scientists found that milk can protect the human body from cancer. According to Euromedia24, the details of the research were published in Nature Communications magazine.

The article mentions that Oxford University scientists conducted a study with the participation of more than 540,000 women.

They found that drinking a glass of milk a day can reduce the risk of colon cancer by 17%. It is also noted that other non-dairy sources of calcium may also have the same beneficial effect.

Lead study author and senior nutrition epidemiologist at the University of Oxford, Karen Papier, said dairy may help prevent colorectal cancer because of its high calcium content, which can bind to bile and free fatty acids in the gut.

Experts believe that the results of the research are relevant for men as well. They also emphasized that it is necessary to take into account the personal contraindications of dairy products.
