According to "Armenpress", the participating countries of "Classical Eurovision" are Armenia, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Sweden and Switzerland. Armenia is represented by flute player Elen Virabyan. He will perform the sixth. The winner will be determined by the jury's vote. The international jury includes German conductor Julien Salemkur, Spanish flutist Eduard Velmar, London Symphony Orchestra conductor Roman Simovich and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan.
In 2012, for the first time in the "Classic Eurovision Song Contest for Young Musicians", the singer Narek Kazazyan represented Armenia. The next participation was 12 years later, in 2024. Armenia was represented by oboist Hayk Hekekyan. "Classical Eurovision 2026" is based on the best samples of Armenian fine arts and classical music.
The slogan of the competition is "Armenia. a place where classical music unites." With this message, Armenia presents itself as a platform for the unification of culture, art and classical music. The "Classical Eurovision for Young Musicians" competition is held every two years, starting from 1982.
