"On August 9, around 00:40, the operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alert that there was an argument near the church of Dashtavan village of Ararat marz.
The policemen who went to the scene found out that the argument of a group of people involved in the incident turned into a fight, as a result of which they hit each other with stones, clubs and melee weapons.
As a result of the operative-investigative measures undertaken by the police, several persons participating in the incident were arrested and taken to the Masis Community Police Department on the basis of the direct suspicion of committing hooliganism.
The documents prepared in connection with the incident were submitted to the pre-investigation body, criminal proceedings were initiated. Circumstances are being clarified," said the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
