Today, on December 12, an emergency situation has arisen in the section of the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway leading from the Ushi bends to the Park of Letters.
As from the scenereportsphotojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, more than 250 vehicles, as well as trucks, long-distance buses, "Gazelles" cannot move forward, because the road is not prepared from ice. Many drivers have parked their cars, got out and are waiting for the weather to clear the road with salt and sand. About 30 light passenger cars and 10 trucks were brought out from the ice by rescuers and patrols.
