The plane carrying out the flight from Yerevan to Nizhny Novgorod ("Shirak Air") successfully landed at the "Zvartnots" International Airport, Lilit Aghabekyan, assistant to the head of the RA Civil Aviation Committee, told Sputnik Armenia.
"At the moment passengers are being unloaded from the plane, the airline has prepared a new plane, later it will leave for Nizhny Novgorod," Aghabekyan said.
Earlier, we reported that the plane flying from Yerevan to Nizhny Novgorod circled in the sky of Armenia for about 1.5 hours.
The plane had a problem with the inflation system, which is used to gain altitude. There were 117 passengers on the plane.
