On December 7, Armine Hovhannisyan, the founder of Orran and the executive director of Armenia's "Youth Achievements" organization, was awarded the "Hope Makes the World Light Up" award in Los Angeles for his significant contribution to the charitable, social and educational fields.

The award was given to T. Archbishop Hovnan Terterian and Los Angeles City Council member Paul Grigorean.

The awarding ceremony took place during the Christmas evening of the Armenian Western Diocese of the USA
