The lawyer of the independent deputy of the National Assembly Hovik Aghazaryan applied to the prosecutor's office to find out how his personal data got to third parties. Aghazaryan informed Sputnik Armenia.
On December 4, Hovik Aghazaryan announced that Nikol Pashinyan had many materials and letters from his phone, which were in the possession of the investigator in the framework of the criminal case, despite the fact that the law enforcement officers had assured that they would get to know only the materials related to the case.
Nikol Pashinyan also announced in the National Assembly that after confiscating the MP's phone, the law enforcement system came across information that threatens state security, including counter-intelligence. He assured that the investigator was also obliged to perform work within the scope of his functions, including that he was obliged to report the contents of the phone to his superior, in the person of the RA Prime Minister.
"At my request, my lawyer applied to the prosecutor's office to start a legal process to understand how my personal data from the anti-corruption committee got to other people," said the deputy.
