Due to the whitefish spawning period, whitefish hunting is prohibited until January 20. Therefore, until January 20, the police officers, together with other concerned bodies, will continue preventive measures.

The police presents two cases recorded on December 6 and 8 within the scope of preventive measures: "As a result of the joint measures of the eco-patrol officers of the Sevan National Park and the water patrols of the PS of Gegharkunik Marz, on December 6, there were 55 over a kilogram of whitefish.

A 61-year-old man, a resident of Noratus village, reported that he bought the fish from a stranger. The fishing boat was moved to a specially protected area of ​​the Sevan community police department.

The next case was recorded on December 8.

The water patrols of Gegharkunik Marz discovered two bags of fish after checking the "UAZ" parked in the coastal area of ​​the 67th km section of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan road around 21:00.

44-year-old and 37-year-old men from Sevan, together with "UAZ", were taken to the Sevan Community Police Department, where they reported that they bought more than 35 kilograms of whitefish from an unknown person on the same day.

The documents compiled in both cases were sent to the investigative department of Sevan.
