A train carrying football fans was evacuated in Poland due to a fire.

In the city of Poznan in western Poland, 834 people were evacuated due to a fire on a freight train and a train with fans of the Legia football club. According to emergency services, the fire broke out near the Poznan-Gurczyn station at 15:00 local time (17:00 Moscow time) on Sunday in a carriage with household appliances. At that moment, a passenger train carrying fans of the Warsaw club Legia was passing the station. They were traveling to a match with Lech Poznań. “On a nearby track, near the Poznan-Gurczyn station, a freight train caught fire, so the driver of the special passenger train stopped the train with fans. Legia fans got off the train and were evacuated,” the portal quotes the words police representative Maciej Święcichowski. According to the portal, the fans were later taken out on buses. The total number of evacuees was 834 people.  Police suspect football fans of careless handling of fire, which could have caused a fire.
