Shvelidze tried to save the life of a young man from Tsiplavake village of Zestafon municipality. he was wounded by a shotgun during an argument with a neighbor.
The operation continued for eight hours. During the operation, he became worse, but he did not stop fighting for the young man's life. "Rostom Shvelidze died while performing official duties," says the message posted on the Facebook page of "All About Medicine". Colleagues express their condolences to Shvelidze's relatives and friends.
According to mass media, it was not possible to save the injured patient either.
