According to Tahir Andrabi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, the United States and Iran will resume expert-level talks on the implementation of the bilateral memorandum of understanding next week. "I think the negotiations will resume next week, on June 30," Agence France-Presse quoted the diplomat as saying.
Andrabi did not specify the location of the talks. "Previous consultations between US and Iranian representatives in Switzerland confirmed that dialogue and diplomacy are the best way to resolve disputes and conflicts.
"Pakistan and Qatar will continue to cooperate with the United States and Iran, playing the role of a mediator in their negotiations to promote the US-Iran peace dialogue," he emphasized.
