The British Ministry of Defense has announced that the UK will transfer 150,000 drones and 350 anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine by the end of the year. "RIA Novosti" informs about it.
The aid package to Kiev will include, in particular, Martlet light multi-purpose missiles, LMM UAVs and ground-based radar systems.
Total aid to Ukraine will amount to £752 million (almost $1 billion). The package is part of a £2.26 billion loan announced by London through 2024. The UK receives the funds from profits from frozen Russian assets.
British Defense Minister Dan Jarvis announced the support to be provided to Ukraine at the meeting of the heads of defense departments of NATO countries and the Ramstein contact group on Ukraine.
