"Hraparak" daily writes:
Lilit Makunts, who registered the 5th index in the women's list after the three-day intra-party elections of the CP, recently told her friends that Nikol Pashinyan sees her as the speaker of the parliament of the next convocation.
Makunts, the former ambassador of RA to the USA, who was Pashinyan's English teacher before the change of power, and after the change of power was the secretary of the "My step" faction, stands out for his soft-spoken ability to get along with everyone. Of course, it is not bad that the ruling team has such confidence and appetite that they will be in power again after the elections, but the question is that even if it happens, Makunts will not be attracted to that position, and a candidate with political speech and flexibility is needed.
By the way, the other contenders, Hayk Konjoryan and Ruben Rubinyan, received a lot of votes not only from Makunts, but also from the acting speaker Alen Simonyan, but there is still a second round of list compilation, where the circle of the first 50 candidates will be put to the vote again to determine the order of seats.
