"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"According to the official sources of the "Zhoghovurd" daily, the three-day pre-election list internal elections in KP have turned into a real political storm, revealing serious tension within the ruling team. The process that started on Friday and continued for three days, which was supposed to be a formal confirmation, actually became a fact of redistribution of forces. Dozens of KP deputies and members of the government were almost sure that their place was guaranteed in the "KP 50".
But the results came as a cold shower for many. in addition, many incumbent MPs simply dropped out of the competition. In private conversations with "Zhoghovurd" daily, some of the MPs who were not included in the lucky 50 expressed doubts that the 1,028 voter-delegates were chosen to create such a picture. In short, there are intra-team doubts regarding the competition.
One of the biggest surprises was the large number of votes received by RA Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan. She became the first woman on the list, receiving 554 votes from 1028 delegates and occupying the 13th position. It is noteworthy that Avanesyan has been more actively associated within the CP only recently, but he managed to overtake many deputies who have been active in the party for years. The results were also unexpected for the temporary manager of the National Assembly Romanos Petrosyan, who appeared on the 12th place on the list, as well as for the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, who is on the 9th position. Although the positions seem high at first glance, the expectations in the government circles were much more ambitious.
At the same time, the relatively low number of votes in the case of one of Nikol Pashinyan's most trusted teammates, MP Arusyak Manavazyan of the CP faction of the National Assembly, stands out.
The latter received only 362 votes and came in 34th place on the list. The CP believes that Manavazyan should have received a larger number of votes, being Pashinyan's confidant. Let's remind that ArmLur.am introduced the KP MPs who failed to be in the top 50 of the first round of the KP pre-election list. Sargis Khandanyan, deputy of the CP faction of the National Assembly, chairman of the permanent committee on foreign relations, 282 votes. NA CP faction deputy Lusine Badalyan: 270 votes.
Arpi Davoyan, member of the CP faction of the NA: 264 votes. Lilit Minasyan, deputy of the CP faction of the NA: 254 votes. Trdat Sargsyan, deputy of the CP faction of the NA: 254 votes. Mariam Poghosyan, member of the CP faction of the NA: 238 votes. Deputy of the CP faction of the National Assembly, chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly Andranik Kocharyan: 225 votes. Deputy of the CP faction of the National Assembly, chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial, Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly Tsovinar Vardanyan: 216 votes. NA CP faction deputy Narek Ghahramanyan: 206 votes.
