Ukraine launched 13 drones over Russian regions


On the night of October 17, Ukraine launched 13 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in three regions of Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that all the drones were successfully shot down by the air defense system. According to the data of the Ministry of Defense, 13 drones were launched, of which six drones were shot down in Oryol region, four in Kursk and three in Bryansk regions.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called what happened an attempt to carry out a terrorist attack against Russia.

Leaders of the attacked regions report on the consequences Bryansk region governor Alexander Bogomaz confirmed that three planes were intercepted in the skies over the region overnight. According to him, no one was injured as a result of the attack, no damage information was received.
