Russia and Belarus have called on the efficiency of the OSCE Security Cooperation Forum, avoiding double standards and have announced their readiness to dialogue, followed the joint statement of the two countries.
"We are announcing the need to strengthen FSC as a unique military-political platform based on the principle of security of the consensus of states for the development of cooperation between the participating states.
The parties added that the OSCE regulations and the rules of consensus consider "the undisputed basis of the organization in general and the FSB in particular."
"We express our conviction to raise the efficiency of the SCC, to look for topics in its military-political mandate and the need to avoid double standards and geographical and thematic imbalances," said the authors of the statement.
They also noted that they are ready for mutual respect and professional dialogue on security issues on the FSC website.
"This statement remains open to join the OSCE member states and partner countries," the applicants clarified.
