A report has been sent to Congress to review the 2020 election results

The US Department of Justice has sent a report to several members of Congress to review the 2020 presidential election. This is reported by Bloomberg, referring to sources.

According to special prosecutor Jack Smith, who prepared the report, Trump made an illegal attempt to maintain power despite losing the US presidential election. The document will be made available to the public later, Bloomberg notes.

According to Reuters, the report also examines allegations against Trump of improper storage of classified documents.

As the official representative of the US Ministry of Justice told TASS on January 12, Smith left the position of special prosecutor. The US Justice Department said this week that it intends to release a summary of Smith's report on the two investigations against Trump.
