The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan neutralized a group of people, among whom were former military personnel and a foreigner undergoing combat training, who planned to provoke mass disturbances in the republic, destabilize the situation and seize power. This was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.
"Employees of the Main Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received information about a group preparing mass riots and destabilizing the socio-political situation. According to the received information, this organized group was created to organize mass riots and seize power by force," the statement said.
"A number of members of this group were taken into custody" during operative-investigative measures.
