Poland expects that Kiev will take a step after the scandal surrounding the glorification of Nazis. As RIA Novosti informs, this statement was made by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk.
"We expect that after the unfortunate decision of Vladimir Zelensky, Ukraine will take a step. It would be good if a clear signal was heard from Kiev. They are trying, but we would like to hear it clearly," the Prime Minister of Poland told reporters.
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine is currently unable to recognize its own history.
"There are objective reasons for this tension. And one of those reasons, as we know from our own history, is the difficulty of coming to terms with one's own history. Volyn is the most dramatic example of this," said the Prime Minister of Poland.
Recently, relations between Ukraine and Poland have been strained again amid Kiev's continued glorification of Nazi criminals.
