The mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, announced that a total of 200 drones launched in the direction of Moscow were neutralized in the last one day.
He announced this on his official page on the MAX platform. According to Sobyanin, most of them were shot down by air defense forces at a significant distance from the capital, and 62 drones were destroyed directly in the vicinity of Moscow.
At the same time, the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, announced the attack of drones in the direction of the city, urging residents to stay at home.
According to the data of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, on the night of July 4, anti-aircraft defense systems shot down a total of 389 aircraft-type drones in different regions of the country.
