Turkish and US Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Donald Trump will discuss defense cooperation, including the F-35 fighter jet program, sanctions and the supply of Turkish KAAN fighter jet engines, a Turkish government source told RIA Novosti.
"The talks will focus on defense industry cooperation, the F-35 program, CAATSA sanctions (the US Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act), KAAN engines and regional security issues," Firat said.
According to him, Trump will arrive in Ankara on July 6 and after the official welcoming ceremony, he will hold talks with Erdogan in the presidential complex.
