The place and date of the new round of US-Iranian negotiations is known

The new round of negotiations between the United States and Iran will take place between May 11-17, in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad.

This is reported by The Wall Street Journal. According to the publication, Iran and the United States, together with mediators, are working on the preparation of a one-page memorandum of understanding. It will consist of 14 articles and will define the scope of the conflict settlement negotiations. For the first time, according to the publication, Iran announced that it is ready to discuss its nuclear program.

The working version of the document also envisages the easing of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the easing of anti-Iranian sanctions. However, the scope of this mitigation is still controversial, the article states.
