Germany will provide an additional 200 million euros in aid to Ukraine

Germany will provide an additional 200 million euros of aid to Ukraine before the winter. According to TASS, this was announced by German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock during her visit to Kyiv.

It is noted that the additional humanitarian aid refers to measures to provide emergency aid to the population during the winter. The German Foreign Minister detailed that these funds will be used to increase the emergency humanitarian aid allocated by them, so that houses near the front lines of combat operations, which do not have the possibility of energy supply, can get fuel. In addition, it is planned to provide the local population with the necessary warm blankets or winter coats to protect them from the cold. On November 4, German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock arrived in Kiev on an unannounced visit. He arrived in Kyiv early in the morning by a special train.

This is Berbock's eighth visit to Ukraine since the start of Russia's military operations. The last time the German Foreign Minister visited Ukraine was in 2024. in May.

"Together with many partners around the world, Germany stands firmly by Ukraine. We will support the Ukrainians as long as they need us, so that they can continue on their way to a just peace," Burbock said after arriving in Kyiv.
