Spain's National Meteorological Agency has activated a maximum red warning for Valencia for the second time in five days: "South coast of Valencia. Severe thunderstorms are possible in this area during the next few hours. It is expected that there will be short rains," the warning reads.
Let's remind that on October 29, heavy rains fell in different regions of Spain. The southern and eastern regions of the country were especially affected. The number of victims of floods exceeded 211.
The disaster has caused extensive damage to the road infrastructure in Valencia, the worst-hit region in eastern Spain, with more than 60 roads closed.
